This is a wonderful ultrasound to bring baby's daddy along, if he has trouble making your doctors appointments, as well as grandparents.

Gender Determination Ultrasound

Recommended for Pregnancies between 15 weeks & beyond

Preferably Pregnancies 16 week & beyond

2D Black and White Ultrasound

***Ok, Ok, we will now attempt as early as 14 weeks and often, we have had great success at this age and earlier.

***But we will offer no guarantees the sonographer will feel comfortable making the call this early due to many variables, therefore, no complimentary re scans available to pregnancies earlier than 15 weeks.

Fair Enough?

If not- just wait the extra week...lol.***

This is the focused Gender Hunt ultrasound, we first look for your baby's gender, which in some cases can take the entire session.

Once gender is established. we will then focus on your baby's face, heartbeat, fetal environment and activities. Do you want to keep the baby's a secret until a gender reveal?

Perfect we can help! These ultrasounds are great for the mom who is a planner and ready to shop, has a gender reveal coming in a few weeks, or is sneaking in because you just can't wait any longer .... yes- we will keep you secret...lol.

Open to all pregnancies 14 weeks & beyond, preferably 15- 16 wks +.

The ideal age is 16 weeks because in fetal development a scrotal sac appears in week 16 - as both boys and girls have "nubs", the appearance of a sac plays a large role in visual determinations.

Other factors in deciding which week to schedule would be:

  • if mom has extra tummy tissue it is recommend to wait until at least 16 weeks due to the extra tissue the sound wave will have to travel thru.

  • if the placenta implanted in an anterior location (between the belly button and baby- requiring the ultrasound to travel thru the placental tissue first) -but many times mom has no idea where the placenta implanted.

  • it is believed that hormonal spikes can effect the "size" of genital tissue

  • if mom has been sick or dehydrated the fluid levels within the amniotic sac could be low (for imaging standards) and cause limited visibility.

  • drinking for 1 or 2 days before the appointment will Not aid in visibility, being well hydrated for ~14 days is recommended

  • early uterine contractions, and baby's positioning can also impair visibility.

Package Includes:

  • 2D viewing

  • 15-minute Session

  • This is a tummy top session and does NOT require a full bladder

  • Heartbeat, if requested

  • Measurement Estimation, if requested

  • Keepsake Pictures  included (Minimum 4 - Often More)

  • Gender Determination

  • Short Gender Re-scan within 14 days for pregnancies 15 weeks and beyond, if Gender not visible during session at No Charge, Re-scans are offered on week days and must be used within 14 days of original scan. Otherwise- a discounted session will be offered.

What is the difference between 3D/4d?

View 3D/4D Samples

3D is simple a still or frozen three dimensional image,

4D is a live moving view in three dimensions.

Basically when you are viewing a three dimensional baby in real time- you are seeing the baby move this is called 4D.

When you get a still photo to take home, the photo is  now 3D, because it is a photo of the 4D real time event. For this reason many people refer to a session as 3D/4D.

From what I understand is that different companies have trade marked the name to make it appear as something different.

5D/HD is the latest in technology advancements when it comes to three dimensional imaging.  It often provides a very real life like image that is pink/flesh toned.
