Join us in a march
for Preeclampsia awareness
Preeclampsia is one of the leading causes of premature birth and affects as many as 300,000 mothers and babies in the United States each year. Globally, 10 million mothers develop it each year. There are no known causes for preeclampsia and the only "cure" starts often with premature delivery of the baby.
On May 18th the Preeclampsia Foundation (www.preeclampsia.org) will hold its Atlanta Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ in honor of May as National Preeclampsia Awareness Month.
We invite In Due Time to pledge their support to help make the 2019 Promise Walk a success, aiding the Preeclampsia Foundation with its education, awareness and research efforts focused on effective treatments that will save the lives of moms
and babies. We think you would be a great partner for the Promise Walk, which is targeting a large family audience of participation in our local community.
The Promise Walk this year will be held at the beautiful Pickneyville Park in Peachtree Corners, and will include family activities including crafts, face painting, a balloon animal artist, raffle prizes, and more! Plus, we will have guest speakers that will highlight why awareness of this life-threatening medical condition is so important. It is a day of hope and promise – a promise that one day there will be a treatment for preeclampsia so that mothers and babies do not suffer or die from this pregnancy related disease.
